THOMAS N. ALVARÉ, CPA/PFS

A founder and managing member of Comprehensive Investment Solutions, LLC (CIS), Tom oversees client services, business development, compliance and company administration.

He has over 30 years of experience in auditing, tax, financial planning and investment advising. He began his career in 1977 at a regional CPA firm in Pennsylvania, and later became the corporate controller of a regional furniture chain. Also, Tom established and successfully managed two firms in Doylestown, Pennsylvania: a CPA firm, which he owned from 1981 - 1995, and an investment advisory firm, which he owned from 1991 - 1995.

Tom recently served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the National Advisors Trust Company, FSB, a federally chartered financial institution owned by more than 130 independent investment advisory firms.

Tom is accredited as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University.

Tom currently serves as a Supervisor for Plumstead Township, PA as well as Chair of the Police Pension Board for the Township. Tom is also Chair of the Financial Advisory Committee for the Sisters of St. Basil the Great in Jenkintown, PA. Previously, he served on the Personal Financial Planning Committee of the PA Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

ROBERT M. VOGEL, CFP®     

As a financial planner and financial advisor, Robert serves individual and institutional clients at CIS. He holds the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification along with the NASD licenses Series 7, Series 65 and Series 63.

Robert’s experience in the financial services industry includes having worked as a financial planner for The Vanguard Group, a major mutual fund company, and as a policy owner service representative with a variable annuity firm. Prior to joining CIS, Robert was working with other financial advisors across the northeast, assisting them with implementing different strategies for employing exchange-traded funds in their business.

Robert holds a degree in Philosophy from West Chester University. He served six years with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.

WILLIAM T. REYNARD, CFP®    

As a financial planner and financial advisor, Bill serves individual and institutional clients at CIS. He holds the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification along with the NASD licenses Series 7, Series 65 and Series 63.

Prior to joining CIS, Bill spent eight years with The Vanguard Group where he provided financial advice to clients of the mutual fund company and mentored newly hired financial planners. Bill holds a degree in Economics from West Chester University.

RYAN C. BARRETT, CFP®     

As a financial planner and financial advisor, Ryan serves individual and institutional clients at CIS. He holds the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification along with the NASD licenses Series 7, Series 65 and Series 63.

Prior to joining CIS, Ryan was an investment manager at The Vanguard Group, providing investment advice to clients of the mutual fund company.He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Pennsylvania State University. Ryan is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

ROBERT G. HEITSENRETHER

As a financial planner and financial advisor, Bob serves individual and institutional clients at CIS. He holds the NASD licenses Series 7, Series 66 and Series 31.

 

Bob possesses nearly 25 years of personal and international financial services experience. Prior to joining CIS, Bob was a vice president, private client financial advisor at Alliance Bernstein. Earlier, he was global head of depositary receipt services at Citigroup. Before that, Bob had served as director of global securities services at Barclays Bank, having held positions in New York and London. He began his career in financial services at J.P. Morgan & Co. as assistant vice president for securities trust and information services. 

Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University.

KAREN L. LYNCH, Registered ParaplannerSM

Karen heads up our Operations Team and is responsible for overseeing the staff who manage our client's investment account data, provide reports to our clients, and who provide many aspects of routine services to our clients.  Karen also helps new clients gather their Personal Financial Data needed for review and analysis by their financial planners in order to create their financial plans and their Investment Policy Statements, which guide the management of their investment portfolios. She also serves as the secretary of the Investment Advisory Committee. Karen has over 20 years of experience in technology and marketing, 14 years of which are in the financial service industry. Prior to joining CIS, she was responsible for operations and marketing at MIIX Capital Management.

BARBARA J. GLOVER, Registered ParaplannerSM

A member of CIS’s paraplanner staff, Barbara works with our financial planners in helping clients manage their portfolios and address their financial planning needs. Barbara has over 15 years of administrative experience, including over 10 years in the banking industry where she worked in a bank’s commercial lending department as Assistant Manager of Operations.

JAMIE WALTER, Paraplanner

A member of CIS's paraplanner staff, Jamie works with our financial planners in helping clients manage their portfolios and address their financial planning needs. Jamie has a background in business and law. She is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has been working in the financial services industry for the past several years.

ELAINE BONTEMPS, Trading Specialist and Registered ParaplannerSM

A member of CIS’s Operations support staff, Elaine processes all trading, works with our financial planners and clients helping manage oversight of distributions from clients’ investment portfolios, and general client support. Elaine has over 10 years experience in financial services.

CAREN L. HABERMEHL, Operations

A member of CIS’s Operations support staff, Caren works with our financial planners and paraplanners in helping manage investment portfolio transfers, account reconciliations, and related activities. Caren also heads up the Portfolio Accounting and Reporting process at CIS. Caren's versatility and cross training is beneficial in supporting our trading and performance reporting functions.

DIANE R. HAMILTON, Operations

A member of CIS’s Operations support staff, Diane works with our financial planners and paraplanners in helping to set up accounts and oversee transfers of securities between them, processes all client deposits, and provides overall department support.  Diane has over 14 years experience in finance related areas.

LINDA WHITAKER, Administration

A member of CIS’s Administrative support staff, Linda works with our financial planners and clients helping manage client relations and new business services. She also assists with compliance functions and office technology, handles bookkeeping, office equipment and supplies, secretarial duties, scheduling and maintenance of client records. Linda has over 15 years of support experience in various areas of business and law.

PATRICIA TALERICO, Administration

A member of CIS’s Administrative staff, Patricia provides administrative, marketing and secretarial support to our financial planners and operations staff. Patricia has nearly 20 years of experience as an office manager and with customer service in various fields.
